The Executive Master of Health Administration program at the University of Washington trains the health care leaders of tomorrow. Designed for mid-career health services professionals, this two-year, part-time program prepares you to take on a mid- to senior-level leadership position and make a positive impact on the future of health care.
At the UW, you'll earn your degree from one of the best programs in the nation. For decades, we have been one of the leaders in health administration training. We are consistently ranked as one of the top MHA programs in the United States by U.S. News & World Report.
Our faculty makes the difference. Our diverse faculty includes cutting-edge researchers in health administration, seasoned health care executives and practicing clinicians from the renowned Seattle health care community.
The UW Executive MHA program is designed to accommodate the busy schedules of working professionals. Classes meet just three consecutive days a month, Thursday through Saturday, so you can continue to work full time while earning your master's degree. For added convenience, on-site classes are supplemented by online assignments and evening webinars.
Through a rigorous, competency-based curriculum, the UW Executive MHA program teaches you a variety of leadership skills that can be used to assume progressively more influential positions throughout your career. In class, you'll practice your leadership skills through team-based learning experiences and then apply what you've learned in a capstone project at your workplace or another health care organization. Outside of class, you'll focus on your own leadership development through ongoing, one-on-one leadership coaching through the Center for Leadership and Strategic Thinking at the UW Foster School of Business.
As a UW Executive MHA student, you will join a diverse group of professionals with unique perspectives. You'll participate in dynamic discussions, benefit from peer feedback and develop an extensive network of experienced health care professionals in a wide range of disciplines.
